Gravel and the Libertarian Party?
Now Sen. Mike Gravel has some very admirable positions, but I’m still confused as to why he decided to join the Libertarian Party. Aside from issues of war and peace, I can’t see how the rest of his positions are compatible with the party. It’s safe to say that he’s a statist to some degree.

it is strange.
it may just be a sympathetic cause.
personally i don’t feel gravel has any alterior motives.
gravel has some major contradictions with the LP in policy and ideas. true enough.
but i take comfort in the idea idea that this motion represents a merging of left and right to counter the elite conglomerates that dominate currently.
